SHOW PREVIEW: PACK EXPO 2012

By RNA Automation Ltd
schedule18th Oct 12

RNA Automation design and manufacture special purpose machineries for handling of medical, pharmaceutical, FMCG and food applications. RNA specialise in integrated automation that provides the packaging and processing industry with flexible, efficient and cost effective technical solutions.

Together with RNA’s sole distributor Palace Packaging Machines, RNA is inviting visitors to this year’s show to take a closer look at its range of equipment from its principals including the high speed multi-lane ZE Systems.

The ZE System being shown is built utilising the standard highly reliable Linear feeder range from RNA. This compact and versatile unit benefits from its modular construction, allowing handling of the most diverse types of components at a high feed speed up to 2000 component parts per minute. The ZE can be either a single lane or an 8-lane feeding system – the ease of use and fast changeover offer the flexibility to deal with both short and long runs and to handle a variety of different applications.

Included on the stand will also be an demonstration of RNA ‘s full automated Quick Release Bowl Feeder. This clean room standard design allows rapid and tool-less changeover of the bowl top in a matter of seconds through a specially designed clamping mechanism. Ease of cleaning and quick change over of components which almost eliminate downtime are the key features of the system. Cross contamination of batches is greatly reduced and new products can be added to the production line at a later date.

Other equipment on display will include Palace’s bottle unscramble, highlighting a versatile module design well built for long lasting and consistent operation; and Palace’s Air-Conveyors, designed to transport bottles, caps, scoops and other components long distances using air-flow through plastic or stainless tubing, which allows clients to centralize and remote locate all packaging components storage and prefeeding.
