At this year’s Southern Manufacturing show, RNA Automation will be showcasing its specialist handling range of vision guided robots that have developed to provide flexible and cost effective solutions to the manufacturing industry. The demo system includes an RNA bowl feeding system with an integrated vision guided robot. The system will be illustrating its capacity of high speed, accuracy, repeatability and ease of maintenance.

The system is designed for high speed assembly or sorting and packing of light components.RNA feeding systems are reliable and robust; the conveyor and linear feeder ensures smooth consistent feed characteristics with minimal vibration. The system can be constructed from 316-L grade stainless steel, adhering to clean room GMP standards, the system can also be manufactured for most pharmaceutical and food applications.

The incorporation of a FANUC M-1iA robot enables fast cycle times and high precision for productivity and cost
performance in picking, packing and assembly applications. The integrated iRVision system incorporates quality control, automated inspecting and sorting.

The system will be demonstrating the handling of 2 variants of poker chips, at rates of up to 120 cycles per minute.
RNA vision guided robotic systems benefit from their simplicity, flexibility and cost-efficiency; with impressive return on
investment often within project timelines and budgets.

Stuart Brettell, managing director of RNA UK commented, ‘We will continue to listen to our customers and provide the
best solutions they require. We will keep seeking new technologies to help our customers improve processes and
productivity.’

Alan Edmunds RNA’s new sales engineer will be on hand to discuss the full range of products and services that RNA
can currently offer. Come along and visit us at Stand P31.
